Marc Egort & Financial Associates is expanding its analytics bench. We are hiring a detail-obsessed Financial Analytics Specialist to support our client engagements with structured reporting, predictive modeling, and financial investigation.
Job Description
As a Financial Analytics Specialist at Egort & Partners, you’ll play a key role in transforming raw financial data into decision-ready intelligence. You will be responsible for preparing models, variance reports, and forecasts that guide our advisory team’s strategic insights. In this role, you’ll clean and integrate financial data from various platforms, support due diligence projects, and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and context. Your work will directly influence how we deliver financial clarity to clients across diverse industries, including healthcare, legal, and service-based businesses. This position is perfect for someone who is highly analytical, detail-driven, and comfortable working across tools like Fathom, Gusto, QuickBooks, and Google Sheets. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
Perform monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis.
Collaborate with the advisory team to prepare client-ready visual and narrative reports.
Source and clean financial data across multiple systems.
Help validate AI-generated analysis from platforms like Support Quality of Earnings and Due Diligence projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate
3–5 years experience in financial analysis or accounting.
Familiar with SaaS financial tools (e.g., Fathom, Gusto, QuickBooks, Karbon).
Comfortable integrating data from different platforms and CRMs.
Demonstrated ability to identify financial discrepancies and root causes.
Knowledge of cost allocation, direct vs. indirect costs, and basic M&A principles.
CPA or CFA is a plus but not required.
