Marc Egort & Financial Associates is seeking a proactive, client-facing Client Advisory Specialist to join our growing Fractional CFO practice. This role is critical in helping businesses make strategic financial decisions by providing analysis, interpretation, and guidance.
Job Description
As a Client Advisory Specialist at Egort & Partners, you’ll be at the forefront of our Fractional CFO practice—serving as the strategic financial partner to our clients’ leadership teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative, executive-facing environments and can translate numbers into meaningful insight and direction. You will lead monthly advisory sessions, conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis, interpret financial trends, and help clients understand the story behind their data. You’ll work closely with our analytics team and contribute to shaping the client experience as we enhance our proprietary dashboard and reporting tools. The right candidate is not only confident with forecasting and modeling but is also a strong communicator who can advise CEOs, founders, and business owners through both challenges and growth phases. Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly virtual advisory sessions with assigned clients.
Deliver strategic financial guidance on budgeting, performance variances, and cash flow.
Support KPI development and progress tracking across clients’ businesses.
Work closely with the analytics and reporting team to understand the story behind the numbers.
Provide ongoing recommendations based on emerging trends or anomalies.
Contribute to refining the client experience as we build out our dashboard and reporting tools.
Ideal Candidate
5+ years in a client advisory, controllership, or outsourced CFO role.
Strong communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
Experience in variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and budget modeling.
Comfort working within cloud-based environments (Carbon, Fathom, GSheet/Excel).
A collaborative, ownership-driven mindset.
CPA or MBA preferred.
